Founded by Fred W. (Fritz) Rohlfing in 1951 in Duluth, Minnesota, Rohlfing expanded to Brainerd, MN in 1965 and operated in a rented two-car garage until building a warehouse in 1972. Rohlfing soon out grew that facility and built its present warehouse location in 1975. It was also in 1975 that Rohlfing launched its Supply Division. In 1990 Rohlfing of Duluth and Brainerd split into two corporations allowing for continued growth in their respective markets. Rohlfing of Brainerd now operates in a state-of-the-art facility utilizing the latest technology.
